This project was the most intriguing of them all mainly because I found it to be possibly hte most useful skill to learn for the future. I never imagined it was too hard and at first it didnt seem to be. The in class tutorial we did projected the program as easy to use. Unfortunately when it was time to put the cut up Adobe Photoshop JPEG's into the tables, it was not so easy. Many hours were spent playing around with the tables and in the end forced be to keep my website as simple as possible and still functional. Finally seen the epic movie 300! Great movie about a spartan king and his soldiers...300 total...fight war against the pursian empire. the fighting scenes are kick ass and the romantic relationship with his wife the queen will grab the ladies attention. This is a must see and can be seen at

Collage

With all my excitement for the current NHL season I completed my collage on the thought of the game in mind. It is a photo which includes the Stanley Cup to represent the greatest trophy of all time, Wayne Gretzky's and Gordie Howe's jerseys to represent arguably the two best players of all time. Oh, and a little blood splatter to represent toughness and commitment to win the Stanley Cup.

NHL !!!

Last night I watched a Colorado Avalanche and Calgary Flames game and was quite intrigued. It was the first time in the season I told myself I couldnt wait for playoffs to start. Im positive I will use my interest in hockey for one of my future projects.

Self Portrait

After many pictures observed, one stupid picture finally gave me an idea to work with. The picture was of a man on a road using his laptop...get of the road you idiot!. So I after telling myself how stupid it was I thought it would be an interesting idea to have myself lying on the road as if just hit by a vehicle with my spirit (translucent figure of myself) walking away from the scene..take a look!

Struggling Creative Process

Lately my thoughts have been mainly focused on my other classes, especially calculus 2. It has come to my attention that our self portrait project is due some what soon and I am continuosly drawing blanks for any good idea's. I dont want to just add a background and add a single element, I hope to make it unique and colorful.My life while going to school is basically homework and partying. So with that in mind I would like to create my self portrait in a manner of expressing my up beat partying lifestyle...not sure exactly how to do that yet but the next few days will be primarily focused on this project.

Education

I am in the process of earning a Geography degree with a concentration in GIS. GIS in a broad term is basically digital mapping. I find the worlds landscape to be very interesting and one day hope to be a city planner. I hope this feild of work brings oppurtunity to work across the globe. Obviously New Media has not much to do with geography but I have decided to take this class to learn skills in photo and video editing.

Briefing

While I am not attending school at Lethbridge I am earning dollar bills in Medicine Hat. Alike Lethbridge it is a moderately sized city and provides great pubs for all your drinking or "socializing" needs. Five dollar schooners at Houston's Pizza if your ever in town. I am currently 22 years old and spend most of my time with schoolwork, kicking it with friends and playing hockey.
